Summary
This study tests whether taking Flomax daily for a week before chest surgery can prevent urinary retention in men aged 50 and older. Urinary retention is a common complication that can require a catheter, causing discomfort and infection risk. The goal is to see if this simple medication can help patients urinate normally after surgery.
