First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two approaches to help 208 adults with both substance use and mental health disorders: a team-based program called MISSION versus working one-on-one with a Peer Specialist. The goal is to see which method better reduces substance use, improves mental health, and lowers overdose risk. Participants are referred from a community hub and are not already in similar treatment.
