Summary

This study is testing if a steroid mouthwash can prevent painful mouth sores, a common side effect, in people with advanced breast or lung cancer. Participants will receive a specific cancer drug and use the mouthwash for the first few treatment cycles. The goal is to see if the mouthwash can lower the rate of mouth sores by 20%.
