New antibiotic gel aims to stop infections in breast reconstruction

Summary
This study tests if a material called Stimulan Rapid Cure, which releases antibiotics directly into the surgical site, can lower the chance of infection in women getting breast tissue expanders after mastectomy. About 392 women will take part. The goal is to see if this local treatment works better than standard care alone.
