Summary
This study tested two new approaches for people with kidney failure on dialysis. One adds a blood-cleaning filter to standard dialysis to reduce heart and brain complications. The other uses a sugar solution during dialysis to prevent dangerous blood pressure drops, allowing longer and more effective treatment. The goal is to make dialysis safer and improve quality of life.
