NCT ID NCT06889792

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving emergency room visitors a health screening and personalized advice can help them adopt healthier lifestyles, like quitting smoking or eating better. Over 1,100 participants will be split into two groups: one gets extra support via text messages and videos, while the other gets standard advice. The goal is to see if this proactive approach helps prevent non-communicable diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
