Summary
This study tested a flexible version of the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) in 214 adults with prediabetes. Participants were randomly assigned to either the standard program or a more personalized goal-setting version. The goal was to see if the flexible approach could better lower blood sugar levels and help more people return to normal blood sugar. The study took place at Denver Health and aimed to find ways to prevent type 2 diabetes.
