Herbal granules aim to stop colon polyps after removal

Summary
This study tests whether a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Jianpi Lishi Jiedu Granules, can prevent the return of advanced colon polyps (adenomas) after they have been removed. About 376 adults aged 18 to 80 who recently had polyps removed will take either the herbal granules or a placebo daily for 3 months. Researchers will check one year later to see if fewer polyps have grown back in the herbal group.
