Herbal granules aim to stop colon polyps from coming back

Summary
This study tests whether a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Jianpi Lishi Jiedu Granules, can prevent colon polyps from returning after they are removed. About 376 adults who had advanced polyps removed will take either the herbal granules or a placebo for 3 months. Researchers will check one year later to see if fewer polyps grew back in the herbal group.
