NCT ID NCT03977259

First seen Jun 16, 2026

Summary

This study looks at 130 preterm babies in the NICU to see if tailoring the nutrients added to breast milk (based on milk analysis) helps them grow better and develop healthier brains compared to standard fortification. Researchers will track physical growth, brain scans, and thinking/movement skills at age 2. The goal is to find the best way to support these vulnerable infants.
