Summary
This study tested whether a press needle (a small acupuncture needle taped to the skin) can reduce severe itching in people on kidney dialysis. 38 patients received either the real needle or a sham (fake) needle on specific acupoints for 4 weeks. The goal was to see if the real needle improved itching scores more than the sham, with no serious side effects expected.
