First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at why people on hemodialysis gain fluid between treatments, which can be harmful. It focuses on how quickly they drink after a session and what factors, like thirst or salt intake, play a role. Researchers will track 20 adults on thrice-weekly dialysis to map their fluid gain patterns. The goal is to better understand thirst triggers to improve future care.
