NCT ID NCT03535922
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether having dialysis patients regularly fill out questionnaires about their symptoms and well-being helps them talk better with their doctors and nurses. About 4,000 adults on dialysis in Alberta and Ontario took part. Some patients filled out symptom-focused or general health questionnaires, and their care teams got the results to guide discussions. The main goal was to see if this improved patient-clinician communication.
