Summary
This study tested whether offering HIV prevention medication (PrEP) to high-risk people in the emergency department could help them start and stay on prevention. 26 adults who were HIV-negative and medically stable took part. The goal was to see if this approach helps overcome barriers like lack of access and knowledge.
