Summary

This study tested a new way to help prevent HIV by offering prevention medication (PrEP) to high-risk people in the emergency department. 26 adults who were HIV-negative and medically stable took part. The goal was to see if starting PrEP in the ER helps people get follow-up care within 30 days.
