Summary
This study aims to see if a personalized decision support tool can help people in emergency rooms and urgent care clinics start and continue taking PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. The tool will address each person's medical and social needs to build confidence in using PrEP. The study will involve 120 HIV-negative adults in Baltimore and Washington, DC, and will track how many fill their prescription, attend follow-up appointments, and keep taking PrEP over time.
