New nasal spray could ease Kids' surgery fears

Summary

This study tests a nasal spray combining two medicines (dexmedetomidine and esketamine) to help children aged 1-6 relax before surgery. The goal is to find the best dose that makes kids calm enough for a smooth start to anesthesia. About 80 children will take part to see how well and how quickly the spray works.
