Summary

This study looks at whether a thorough geriatric assessment before liver surgery (hepatectomy) can reduce major complications and improve recovery in patients aged 70 and older with liver cancer. Researchers will follow 242 participants to see if this personalized, multidisciplinary approach leads to better surgical safety and quality of life. The goal is to tailor care for older adults undergoing major liver surgery.
