First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special education program before gallbladder removal surgery can improve patients' quality of life after the operation. About 200 adults aged 18 to 75 will take part. One group will get the usual hospital instructions, while the other will attend extra classes about gallstones and the surgery. Researchers will compare how well each group recovers and how much they know about their condition.
