First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether teaching patients about gallstones and gallbladder removal surgery before the operation can improve their quality of life afterward. About 200 adults having gallbladder surgery will either get standard hospital care or extra educational sessions. Researchers will compare how well each group recovers and how much they know about their condition.
