Prehab before CAR-T: can a simple exercise program boost outcomes for myeloma patients?
NCT ID NCT07045727
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized exercise program (aerobic and resistance training) done before CAR-T therapy can improve physical fitness and quality of life in older adults (60+) with multiple myeloma that has returned or stopped responding to treatment. Twenty participants will follow the program for several weeks before their CAR-T infusion. The goal is to see if this 'prehabilitation' approach is feasible and helps patients feel stronger and recover better.
