First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized exercise program (aerobic and resistance training) done before CAR-T therapy can improve physical fitness and quality of life in adults aged 60 and older with multiple myeloma that has returned or not responded to treatment. About 20 participants will follow the program for several weeks before their CAR-T infusion. The goal is to see if this "prehabilitation" approach is feasible and helps patients feel better during and after treatment.
