New community program aims to break obesity cycle starting in pregnancy
NCT ID NCT04298125
Summary
This study is testing whether a healthy lifestyle program designed for pregnant women with obesity can be successfully delivered in community settings instead of just clinics. Researchers will work with community members to adapt the program and then test it with 60 expecting mothers, with half receiving the program and half receiving standard care. The goal is to help mothers stay active during pregnancy to potentially reduce obesity risks in their children.
