New community program aims to break obesity cycle before birth
NCT ID NCT04298125
Summary
This study is testing whether a healthy lifestyle program for pregnant women with obesity can be successfully delivered in community settings instead of clinics. Researchers will adapt an existing program and pilot it with 60 expecting mothers to see if it's practical, acceptable, and can be delivered consistently. Half the participants will receive the community program while the other half receive standard care, with the goal of preventing obesity in their children.
