Scientists probe immune secrets to prevent miscarriage
NCT ID NCT07297394
Summary
This study aims to understand how a pregnant person's immune system adapts to support a healthy pregnancy and prevent miscarriage. Researchers will track immune system changes in 100 women undergoing IVF by analyzing their blood samples before pregnancy and during the first trimester. The goal is to identify immune patterns linked to successful pregnancies versus those ending in miscarriage, which could lead to better prediction and prevention of pregnancy complications in the future.
