Scientists probe immune secrets of pregnancy to prevent miscarriages

NCT ID NCT07297394

Summary

This Swiss study aims to understand how a pregnant person's immune system accepts the growing fetus without attacking it. Researchers will track 100 women undergoing IVF treatment, analyzing their blood before pregnancy and during early pregnancy or miscarriage. The goal is to identify immune patterns that support healthy pregnancies, which could eventually help predict and prevent miscarriages.
