Could a pregnancy risk score predict future heart trouble?
NCT ID NCT07479329
Summary
This study aims to understand if a woman's estimated risk for a pregnancy complication called preeclampsia is linked to her future heart health. Researchers will look at 1,300 women with type 1 diabetes who had a pregnancy at least 3 years ago. They will check for artery plaque and other heart risk factors to see if a high early-pregnancy risk score predicts later cardiovascular issues.
