First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study will follow 1300 women with type 1 diabetes to see if a high risk of preeclampsia in early pregnancy is linked to heart disease and other health problems years later. Researchers will check for plaque in neck arteries, blood sugar control, and heart events. The goal is to better understand how pregnancy complications relate to long-term cardiovascular health.
