Summary

This study aims to understand and predict when patients with a sudden brain injury can be safely taken off a mechanical ventilator. Researchers will observe 406 adult patients who have been on a ventilator for at least a day. The goal is to gather information to create better guidelines for doctors, helping patients breathe on their own sooner and avoid complications.
