New test could tell who will benefit from sleep apnea implant
NCT ID NCT05429983
Summary
This study aims to improve treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers want to see if a simple measurement taken during a standard sleep procedure can predict which patients will respond well to an implanted nerve stimulation device. The goal is to help doctors better select patients for this therapy, as currently about one-third of people who get the implant do not see enough improvement.
