First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks back at medical records of 1,950 breast cancer patients to build a tool that predicts whether lymph nodes are cancer-free after chemotherapy. The goal is to identify patients who could safely have a less invasive sentinel node biopsy instead of full lymph node removal. Researchers will combine clinical features and blood markers to create a prediction model.
