NCT ID NCT07370103
First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple neck ultrasound can predict a dangerous drop in blood pressure after anesthesia in adults with chronic liver disease. Researchers will measure blood flow in the carotid artery before surgery and see if it relates to low blood pressure after anesthesia begins. The goal is to find a better way to keep patients safe during surgery.
