NCT ID NCT07572539
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple finger sensor (peripheral perfusion index) and an ultrasound measurement of a large vein can predict low blood pressure in people having shoulder surgery while sitting up. Researchers will monitor 70 adults to see how accurate these tools are. The goal is to help doctors prevent blood pressure drops during surgery.
