Doctors develop tool to predict which kids face thinking problems after brain surgery
NCT ID NCT07350382
Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 600 children who had brain tumor surgery to create a prediction tool. Researchers wanted to identify which factors might help predict which children would develop long-term thinking and memory problems after surgery. The study analyzed existing brain scans, surgical details, and follow-up test results to build this predictive model.
