First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a computer model can predict if a woman carries a harmful BRCA gene mutation just by looking at ultrasound images of her healthy ovaries. Over 6,400 women will participate, and the goal is to create a simple, non-invasive screening tool. If successful, this could help identify high-risk women earlier and guide prevention strategies.
