Summary

This study reviewed medical records of 901 infants who had surgery for aortic coarctation (a narrowed aorta) before age one. Researchers wanted to find out how many later developed high blood pressure or re-narrowing of the aorta. The goal is to better understand these risks and improve follow-up care for these children.
