Timing of radiation may cut brain cancer spread

Summary
This study tests if giving a single radiation dose before brain metastasis surgery can lower the chance of cancer spreading to the lining of the brain, compared to five doses after surgery. About 200 adults with brain tumors that can be removed will take part. The main goal is to see which timing better prevents this serious complication over one year.
