Summary

This study looked at whether taking a daily supplement called PQQ for six weeks changes how the body burns fat and energy during exercise in people who are not endurance-trained athletes. Twenty-four basketball players were randomly assigned to take either PQQ or a placebo. Researchers measured their body composition, blood markers, and how their bodies used fuel during a cycling test.
