First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether eating baked potatoes with the skin, along with a Mediterranean-style diet, can improve blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure in adults with pre-diabetes. About 60 people aged 45-80 will either follow the Mediterranean diet alone or add baked potatoes for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in blood sugar, insulin, and other heart health markers.
