First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a salt substitute that is lower in sodium and higher in potassium can help kidney transplant recipients lower their blood pressure. About 80 participants will use either the special salt or regular salt for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the substitute safely improves blood pressure without causing too much potassium in the blood.
