First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested two posture retraining methods (Mezieres Method and Isostretching) in 30 elite gymnasts with low back pain. The goal was to see if these therapies reduce pain and improve movement. Participants were active competitors training at least 7 hours per week. The results help understand how posture correction may relieve back pain in high-performance athletes.
