Summary
This study looks at whether taking tranexamic acid pills after hip replacement surgery can reduce pain, swelling, and help people walk sooner. About 101 adults having their first hip replacement will take the drug or a placebo for a few days after surgery. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost approach improves recovery and lowers the chance of complications.
