Summary

This study tests whether taking tranexamic acid pills for a few days after hip replacement surgery can reduce pain, help people walk sooner, and lower the risk of complications. About 101 adults having their first hip replacement will take either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost approach improves recovery and outcomes.
