First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will follow 800 adults who survived an ICU stay in China to learn about the long-term physical, mental, and thinking problems they face, known as Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS). Researchers will measure muscle strength, memory, mood, sleep, and pain using standard tests. The goal is to better understand PICS and help design better follow-up care for ICU survivors.
