Summary
This study tested a single injection of a long-acting painkiller (SDE) to manage pain after hemorrhoid removal surgery. 221 adults received either the drug or a placebo, and their pain levels were tracked for 48 hours. The goal was to see if the injection safely reduces pain and the need for extra pain medication.
