First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a Post-Dental Extraction Care Kit (PDEC-kit) in 208 adults having routine tooth extractions. The kit included a video, flashcards, a live demo, and a take-home brochure. Researchers wanted to see if it helped patients remember care instructions, follow them better, and feel less anxious compared to just verbal instructions. Results are not yet reported.
