Can happiness training slow early dementia?

NCT ID NCT07289061

Summary

This study is testing whether a free, online group program focused on building positive emotions and strengths can help improve thinking skills and brain function in older adults with early memory concerns. About 128 participants with either subjective memory complaints or mild cognitive impairment will be randomly assigned to either join the 16-week online program or continue with their usual care. Researchers will measure changes in memory, attention, and brain activity to see if the program provides benefits that last for 9 months after it ends.
