First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested whether a tool in a patient portal could help people with mild memory problems discuss and document their future medical wishes. Researchers enrolled 300 adults aged 65 and older with mild cognitive impairment or early dementia. The goal was to see if people would use the tool and if it led to more care planning discussions with their doctors.
