First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a new, portable, and low-cost MRI scanner designed to diagnose multiple sclerosis (MS) in places where standard MRI machines are not available, such as rural areas or developing regions. About 50 people with suspected MS will be scanned with both the portable device and a standard MRI to compare accuracy. The goal is to make MRI diagnosis faster, cheaper, and more accessible worldwide.
