Scientists map tumor mutations to match patients with best treatments
NCT ID NCT05489250
Summary
This study aimed to create a network and database to improve personalized treatment for people with advanced gastrointestinal cancers. Researchers collected genetic information from patients' tumors to understand which mutations are common and how they affect treatment choices. The goal was to use this information to help doctors match patients with the most suitable clinical trials or therapies based on their unique cancer profile.
