Summary
This study tested whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (a concentration of healing cells from your own blood) into the wound after pilonidal sinus surgery helps it heal better. Forty people with chronic or recurrent pilonidal sinuses took part. Researchers measured wound healing and complications like infection or bleeding.
